Why This Day Exists

Modern life offers plenty of ways to stay busy, but very few spaces to slow down, reflect, and connect. This day exists to give men an opportunity to step away from the noise, experience genuine community, and explore practical tools for growth, resilience, and wellbeing.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This day is for men who are curious about themselves, value connection, and are open to learning. No previous experience is needed—just a willingness to show up, participate, and explore alongside others.

WHAT MEN'S WORK ACTUALLY IS

Men's work is the practice of creating space for honest conversation, self-reflection, challenge, and growth. It isn't about fixing people or following a particular ideology. It's about developing greater awareness, responsibility, connection, and authenticity in everyday life.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY

Through discussion, practical exercises, reflection, challenge, and shared experience, you'll gain a grounded introduction to men's work. Expect meaningful conversations, opportunities to connect with others, time in nature, and practical tools you can take home and apply in your own life.

There are waivers for taking part in any of the activites, and you may withdraw from any activity at any time, but all experiences are open to all participants and we'll work with you where you are at, whether you've been to men's work retreats before or this is your first time!

Will food be provided?

Yes, lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Please bring any additional snacks you may want, especially if you have specific dietary needs.

We will collect dietary requirements before the event.

Is this therapy?

No. This is not therapy, counselling or medical treatment, or a substitute for the above.

It is a facilitated personal development and men's work experience.

You are responsible for your own wellbeing throughout the day, and you are welcome to step back from any exercise if needed.

Is breathwork suitable for everyone?

Breathwork can induce powerful emotional releases and may not be suitable for everyone.

Do I have to share personal things?

No.

You will be invited to reflect and share, but you will never be forced to disclose anything.

The day is built around consent, choice and personal responsibility.

Participation matters, but performance does not.

What if I come on my own?

Most men will.

You do not need to know anyone before arriving.

The day is designed to help men connect naturally through conversation, shared experience and small group work.

How much does it cost?

£111 for one place

or

£200 for two places

Places are limited to keep the group intimate and connected.

What happens after the event?

There will be a two-week integration period after the day.

This gives you time to digest what came up, notice what has shifted, and bring the experience into everyday life.

We will then hold a follow-up group call for reflection, questions and integration support.

Is this LGBTQ+ Friendly and/or suitable for trans men?

Yes, we seek to build community foremost and with our commitments to curiosity and connection, all are welcome that identify as male. Sexuality is irrelevant an all expressions are warmly welcome. No exclusionary or intolerant behaviour will be accepted at the retreat, or in general. This is a safe space where all who enter make agreements to respect, keep confidence and share camaraderie.
